Luxmore Homes is committed to providing our homeowners with great service from conception to completion and beyond. Our warranty will offer peace of mind that the workmanship, mechanical, and structural components of your new home are covered. This includes plumbing, HVAC, electrical, cabinets, flooring, hardware, and more. The details of your limited warranty will be discussed with you at your homeowner orientation walk with the builder. Homeowner Orientation and Pre-delivery Inspection
Approximately two weeks prior to closing on your new house, you and the builder will have a homeowner orientation and pre-delivery inspection. During the walk-through, you and the builder will have the opportunity to note any and all last minute cosmetic items to be addressed before closing. Two to three days prior to closing, you and the builder will have a final walk of your home to confirm that all of your concerns have been properly handled.
Eleven Month Touch-up
As you are rounding out the first year in your new home, it will be time for you to invite us back in your home for some final touch-up items. It is in the natural course of a home’s lifecycle to settle. As the home settles, nail-pops and minor settlement cracks may become visible in the drywall. The eleven month touch-up is our opportunity to come back into your home and clean these items up for you so that you can continue to enjoy your new home just like it was on move in day.
• 10 full years of structural defect coverage for load-bearing components.
• 2 full years of systems surety coverage against defects in wiring, piping, and ductwork in electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling, ventilating, and mechanical systems.
• 1 full year of surety coverage against defects in workmanship and materials.
